To anyone who's been scammed by other car rental companies (not accepting debit cards, paying for damage you haven't done, paying extra fees, etc...), try out Centauro. They've been really nice to me. Check-in was very smooth, the welcoming was very friendly, they didn't insist on me purchasing anything from them and also suggested I should take a video of the car before picking it up just because mistakes can happen. The car was very nice, and check-out was quick and smooth. The shuttle directly brought us back to the airport after we left the car. I've had the best car rental experience with them and will always prioritize them over other companies in the future!

Great service! The car was way better than expected. The only problem is that my kids now want me to buy the same. As soon as possible. When we had some trouble (broken window in a parking place in Trastevere) - the customer support was fast and reliable. They offered a new car right at the moment. And it was 10 p.m. If I have to rate, it would be 11 out of 10. Thanks, CENTAURO!

Really cheap and a nice range of cars. They pick you up from the airport and take you to the garage/shop where the cars are cleaned and stored. It's nice and easy to book and pay for everything through the app so all you have to do it just turn up and drive the car away.

It was my first time renting a car abroad and Centauro did not disappoint. I'm extremely satisfied with their quick services offered at the office and the shuttle bus and the quality of the car provided for its value. It's a big relief to know that you're fully covered for an exceptionally competitive price package (Opel Corsa Elegance 2020; 4 days; 106 euros) and the best part was that there was no deposit needed. All I had to pay was a fuel deposit (104 euros) which was returned within 48 hours. Would definitely rent with this company again, if needed. Thanks Centauro!

Rented a car from Centauro Pisa on Saturday 2nd March. We had an excellent experience! They pick you up from the airport with a shuttle van and take you to their very clean and tidy premises. Excellent and quick service and courteous personnel. Everything went smoothly and they take you back to the airport with the shuttle van. We will definitely use their services again! Thank you.

Car was upgraded to the higher class for free, quick pick up and return, no hidden costs and simplicity of the policy (no deposit, first additional driver and full cover for free). Totally recommend it!

Excellent service, we arrived later than expected at 10pm. Shuttle arrived at the designated location and was expecting us, all paperwork was completed promptly as we were on our way. We got a super new Fiat 500 Sport and drove all around Sardinia. The return of the car was super smooth, we were greeted by a very smiley and courteous team and were promptly dropped off at the Airport.

I was terrified about driving in Sicily but this is by FAR the best car rental experience I have ever had. When you arrive climb one floor up and cross the street in front of the terminal (main entrance which is in front of the police office). Then there is no signs for the shuttle so we thought we got fooled but no, less than 10 minutes later the bus showed up (it's VERY yellow and written Centauro in huge letters so you really can't miss it). It's about a 10 min drive to the Centauro office where we got our car in about 5 min. I highly recommend taking the premium offer which gives you full insurance and an extra driver (driving in Sicily can be very interesting so we felt much better having the full coverage). Also if you book directly on their website the premium package is cheaper, so it's worth it! Don't be surprised they charge you for the gas when you get the car but you get the money back if you bring back the car full. Highly recommended!

We have only best experience. Even though we had our own insurance, there was no push to get company's one. Even more we were recommended to take pictures of a car right away to avoid problems when returning a car. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I used a debit card for this rent and refund for a car was done immediately and for gas it took about 2 days without any problems. I definitely recommend this company. Thanks!

Booked a car for 4 days with full coverage and no excess, on Black Friday with ~80 euros. Everything was super fast, at pickup and dropoff, less than 10-15 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend anytime.

Cancel a Booking

  • What is the cancellation policy? Is there a charge?

    There are no cancellation costs with Centauro Rent a Car if you have booked directly with us and as long as you cancel your booking on our website, which is why we suggest booking early to guarantee availability and the best price. 

    Using our booking platform on the website, you can easily cancel your reservation without any charge up to 24hours before the scheduled pick-up time of your booking. After this period, no refunds will be applicable.

    Please remember that we have reserved a car especially for you, if you are not going to use it, this vehicle could be used for another customer.

    In the event of a cancellation, you can choose a coupon to use on future occasions, or a refund of your reservation.

  • How do I cancel my booking?

    You can cancel the reservation directly on our website. Just include the booking number and email address you used when you made the reservation and you then have the option to cancel.
