Centauro Rent a Car S.L.U. (hereinafter, Centauro), a company that provides vehicle rental service, with registered office at Calle Berlín , nº 2, Edificio Coblanca V, 03503 Benidorm, Spain, informs its users about its data protection policy, so that its users may decide freely and voluntarily whether to provide their consent to the collection of personal data which may be carried out through the web page www.centauro.net.
Centauro informs its users of the existence of a computerised file of personal data that has been created and is subject to its responsibility. The purpose of this file is to maintain and manage the contractual relationship of the User with Centauro, together with the provision of information and marketing regarding Centauro’s car rental activity.
Centauro, notifies the users of its web site that access to its page does not imply an obligation in collection of their personal data but rather that the collection of this data is optional and is only carried out in the contact and reservation sections.
The user consents that the comments expressed in the satisfaction survey may be used in any of Centauro’s sales activities.
Likewise, we communicate to the users that the data collected through the previously cited sections for collection of data in the portal will be handled with secrecy and confidentially, and it will be incorporated in a computerised file of personal data for which Centauro is responsible.
Except in those cases in which it is expressly indicated, the responses to questions regarding personal data will be obligatory. The user’s failure to respond, and also the falsity of the data provided by the user, may make it impossible for Centauro to provide the vehicle rental service.
In accordance with Art 12.2 of RD 1720/2007, Centauro will handle the data confidentially with the sole purpose of managing and promotion for its customers within the scope of its own activities that are carried out in a company of this nature.
In compliance with Article 14.2 of the aforementioned Royal Decree, we grant the user a period of 30 days in order to declare his refusal of the handling, and we inform him that once this period has elapsed without a statement by him to the contrary it will be understood that he consents to the processing of his personal data.
Likewise, Centauro, will cancel and eliminate the data if they turn out to be inexact, incomplete or when they are no longer necessary or relevant to the purpose for which they had been collected, in accordance with the Organic Law on Data Protection 15/1999 of December 13 and Royal Decree 1720/2007 of December 21.
Notwithstanding the previous statements, the user may revoke his consent and also exercise his rights of access, correction, cancellation or opposition by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
