With the following telephone number, you can obtain 24hr road assistance either in Spain, Portugal, Italy or Greece.
When you hire a car with Centauro Rent a Car we include a 24hr telephone road assistance for complete peace of mind and to help you in any circumstance that may arise.

- My car won't start. What do I do?
If you have a manual vehicle, check that all doors are closed and keep your foot on the clutch pedal while you turn or press the start key.
If you have an automatic vehicle, set the clutch lever to the "P" position, press the brake pedal and turn or press the start key at the same time.
Contact the 24h road assistance or the nearest Centauro Rent a Car office if the vehicle still does not start.
- My car has been towed. What do I do?
Contact your nearest Centauro Rent a Car office, they will advise you on what to do and give you the necessary documents to recover the vehicle.
- My car has been stolen. What do I do?
Contact your nearest Centauro Rent a Car office and proceed immediately to file a police report at the Police Station, it is important that you bring the car key to the Centauro Rent a Car office.
- My car has been broken into. What do I do?
Contact your nearest Centauro Rent a Car office and proceed immediately to file a police report at the Police Station.
The Centauro Rent a Car office will tell you how to proceed.
Note: No insurance covers personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
- Just had a flat tyre. How do I change it? Can someone help me? Am I covered?
Change the flat tyre with the spare.

Next, go to your nearest Centauro Rent a Car office, where you will receive a new vehicle.
The full coverage option does not include the service of changing a flat tyre.
If you have the Centauro SMART cover there will be no cost for the tyre.
- I've lost my key/my key has been stolen. What do I do?
Contact the 24h road assistance who will inform you about what to do. Contact your nearest Centauro office as soon as possible for instructions on how to proceed.
Please note that Centauro Rent a Car does not deliver a copy of the car keys to your accommodation or local address.
Therefore, you must always go to one of our offices to collect a new set of keys. (Subject to charge)
- Just had an accident. What do I do?
If you have had an accident and either yourself or any occupants of the vehicle are injured, immediately contact the Emergency Service: 112 in Spain, Portugal & Greece and 118 in Italy) and they will send help for you.
Try and collect as much information about the accident. In the glove compartment you will find an 'Accident Report Form' to fill out.
If the vehicle is suitable for driving, contact your nearest Centauro Rent a Car office to check that a substitute vehicle is available if needed. Go to the office and hand in the accident report form.
If you are not able to drive the car then contact the 24h Road Assistance.
You must have your contract number, vehicle number plate and a your exact location.
