Pretty simple. Book your car directly on the website. Take on full insurance package. And this will be a worry free, as advertised, experience. Got great service from Emanuele and even got a free upgrade. New vehicle with only a few thousand km on it. Got the car full and returned it full with no issues. There is a petrol station just a few meters from the returning office. The airport shuttle will come. Just be patient its very busy. Not sure how Centauro handled customers in the past but for us, it was great. Just avoid third party insurance coverage to save a few bucks and everything will be awesome.

Very professional and polite. We rented a car in Pisa, returned it in Rome. The staff was very helpful, and the even allowed us to leave our baggage when we returned the car, so we can explore a little before airplane. I reccomend.

Wow! Simple and fast service - they have an app that shortens the car pickup, deposit only on fuel which was returned before i got on to their airport shuttle. (They also pick you up from the airport to the car rental place 5 minutes drive with the shuttle) For a car we rented nissan Qashqai Manuel - we got a new and clean car with about 9800 km on it The car was good clean and powerful and was well maintained, we didn't had a single problem The staff was really kind and helpful We took the full insurance in a very reasonable price (one of the lowest prices we found ) Definitely recommend! Will definitely rent trough them again

I've booked a car from Centauro and was very satisfied with the service. Rented through the Centauro app with Premium service + infant seat (given at reception). No additional deposit required. I only paid the gas 102eur which was returned in the same drop-off day ( need to rerurn the car with full gas as initially received). Also they have a free shuttle from and to the Pisa airport taking you to the rental center every 10min from 7 to 22. Premium service includes Full-full insurance, no need to worry about scratches

This is the second time we used Centauro. Everything was smooth and efficient. I booked the car through the app. We were picked up at Cagliari airport, did not have to wait at all. The staff was friendly and efficient. We were given an upgraded vehicle. The return process was quick, we did not even have to go to the office. There was no deposit for the vehicle, just for fuel, it is automatically repaid if you fill the car up, I have not received the funds yet, but we only returned the car yesterday afternoon. Highly recommanded!

We had a great experience with this company. From the pick up crew to the drop off crew it all went so smoothly. We prepaid for fuel refill (€120 and got €44 back) which is much easier than tryong to refill at the airport before dropping back. We paid for the Jeep Renegade size and got a Qashqai which was fine, decent car. It was very well priced and the full insurance came with the additional driver. Strongly recommend this company.

Our experience was very smooth. The car given to us was better than what we paid for; Collection and return was hassle free, as we paid for full insurance. That's definitely worth it. No credit card needed. They only deducted around €100 deposit for the fuel, which was returned and back in my bank account a day after returning the car. Their office is not inside the airport. There is a shuttle service that takes you there in 5 minutes.

Our flights with delayed over 2 hours and the offices closed at 2300 our flight didn't get in till after midnight so I thought the rental company would be closed. I've could collector the car the next day as our hotel was only 3 to 4 kilometers away . On arrival at Bologna airport we came outside and it must be over a hour queue for a taxi, We were staying nearby in the hotel and we're were going to try walk the 3 kilometres. To my amazing the mini bus from Centauro pulled in front of us they knew our flight was delayed the lady provided excellent service and brought us to the rental company gave us an upgrade and we're on our way excellent service . There is a €40 Euro charge for the late opening. But the taxi would have costs more and we're grateful for this service and the upgrader car at no cost.

Cancel a Booking

  • What is the cancellation policy? Is there a charge?

    There are no cancellation costs with Centauro Rent a Car if you have booked directly with us and as long as you cancel your booking on our website, which is why we suggest booking early to guarantee availability and the best price. 

    Using our booking platform on the website, you can easily cancel your reservation without any charge up to 24hours before the scheduled pick-up time of your booking. After this period, no refunds will be applicable.

    Please remember that we have reserved a car especially for you, if you are not going to use it, this vehicle could be used for another customer.

    In the event of a cancellation, you can choose a coupon to use on future occasions, or a refund of your reservation.

  • How do I cancel my booking?

    You can cancel the reservation directly on our website. Just include the booking number and email address you used when you made the reservation and you then have the option to cancel.
