Book a PREMIUM rental with FULL insurance coverage and NO EXCESS through the Centauro website DIRECTLY. For us, this made for a simplified, worry-free rental experience since they have no incentive to try to get you for tiny scratches. Pick-up and return in Fiumicino were both quick and easy. The staff was friendly. We didn't take the airport shuttle since we were already staying in Fiumicino. So, I can't comment on that part of the experience, but everything else was smooth and efficient!

We booked on line with the app and paid for the full insurance. The instructions to get to the shuttle bus were detailed and welcome, the representative phoned and picked us up. Honestly the easiest most stress free cafe hire I have ever done. The whole process renting and return was excellent. Get the full insurance and the fuel plan. Driving in Italy is stressful, this just took it away.

Amazing Flexibility & Honesty: I had to return the car two days earlier than planned. Not only did they accept it with a smile, but they also refunded the amount for the remaining two days promptly and without any complications. The car was spotless and in perfect condition. Great experience with Centauro at the Bergamo airport! Everything went smoothly from the booking to the checkout. If you log in the application you can fill in all the documents in advance and save time by just take the keys automatically. Although the office is not at the terminal, there is a free shuttle, but there might be not enough seats for other passengers except for the driver, so you'll have to drive back to the airport to collect the rest of the company. This is the only downside of the whole experience, but it is compensated by the good organisation and flexibility or the staff. We bought the premium package and had no issues with insurance and claims. The car was new, clean and in good condition.

Great experience with Centauro in Sardegna. The car was brand new and the process was really easy with them. We select the premium package (the cheapest compared to other rental brands) and everything was just smooth and perfect. 100% recommended.

I had a great experience with Centauro!! Staff were extremely helpful and nice, fee for the young driver was not crazy, and everything was transparent and clear, full coverage is possible, which I advise. The car was new, well maintained. Overall I'm super glad, best car rent experience I had so far, recommend!!

We rented a small SUV for a week in early June. Both the service and the car were excellent. Pick up and drop off worked well, and no queues either way. Price was really competitive. Wouldn't recommend driving in Palermo though, unless you can rent a tank! 😉

This was the second time I rented a vehicle from Centauro at Catania Airport, and once again the experience was excellent. Their online booking process is straightforward and clear, but what really sets Centauro apart is their Smart Insurance cover. It truly covers everything with no excess, meaning you simply return the car with a full tank and hand back the keys—no worries about hidden clauses or fine-print exclusions. This peace of mind is exactly what I look for when renting a car abroad, and so far I've only found it with Centauro. The cars are very good: new, comfortable, and most are equipped with GPS and phone connectivity. I highly recommend this company and will definitely continue using them. The only downside is that they're not available worldwide!

Made the reservation through their app 1 hour before picking up the car, when we got there the service was very good and fast. No hidden fees or anything, just a gas tax which they return when you bring the car back (with the full reservoir). When we brought the car back, the check was fast and they also took us to the airport (as the location is outside of the airport like the other rent companies) which is only 3-4 minutes away. I recommend using them without worries.

A special thank you to Miriam, or perhaps Myriam, who was absolutely wonderful. We had an early flight from Florence to Düsseldorf at 9:20 a.m., while the rental station only opened at 8:00. As the shuttle driver had not yet arrived, she immediately offered to drive us to the airport herself. A few moments later, another colleague came to take us, but she still accompanied us and made sure everything went smoothly. She was incredibly kind, calm and reassuring at a moment when we were beginning to feel quite stressed. Thanks to her help, we reached the airport in time and caught our flight. The entire rental experience was excellent. The car was perfect, everything was well organised, and the service was friendly and professional throughout. A big shout out to Miriam. She made all the difference that morning.
