Book a PREMIUM rental with FULL insurance coverage and NO EXCESS through the Centauro website DIRECTLY. For us, this made for a simplified, worry-free rental experience since they have no incentive to try to get you for tiny scratches. Pick-up and return in Fiumicino were both quick and easy. The staff was friendly. We didn't take the airport shuttle since we were already staying in Fiumicino. So, I can't comment on that part of the experience, but everything else was smooth and efficient!

We booked on line with the app and paid for the full insurance. The instructions to get to the shuttle bus were detailed and welcome, the representative phoned and picked us up. Honestly the easiest most stress free cafe hire I have ever done. The whole process renting and return was excellent. Get the full insurance and the fuel plan. Driving in Italy is stressful, this just took it away.

5/5 ! This was my second time renting a car with Centauro in Milan, and I am really satisfied with the experience. About the pick up, a yellow van is coming every around 15 minutes to pick you up from the airport in order to go to the office to take your car. You have to go upstairs to the departures area: for T1 you wait right outside Exit 17, and for T2 in the parking area by the BPM Bank ATM. Just be there at the areas mentioned and in max 15 minutes the van will arrive. They also send a detailed email beforehand with all the instructions. The staff is incredibly helpful, polite, and easy to communicate with. I both emailed and called them to ask a question, and they responsed very quickly and solved my issue immediately. On top of that, the prices are really good (the best in both times) and the car was literally brand new. Highly recommended!

Great experience with Centauro at the Bergamo airport! Everything went smoothly from the booking to the checkout. If you log in the application you can fill in all the documents in advance and save time by just take the keys automatically. Although the office is not at the terminal, there is a free shuttle, but there might be not enough seats for other passengers except for the driver, so you'll have to drive back to the airport to collect the rest of the company. This is the only downside of the whole experience, but it is compensated by the good organisation and flexibility or the staff. We bought the premium package and had no issues with insurance and claims. The car was new, clean and in good condition.

Very satisfied with the overall car hire experience from Centauro at Pisa Airport: the shuttle bus arrived fairly quickly; the staff knew they were expecting us; the whole admin process was very swift, and the car we got was clean, and exceeded our expectations. Even though it was the busy mid-July peak season, everything was absolutely perfect! The customer service at the desk was quick and helpful, and the airport transfer drivers were incredibly kind and flexible. The car was super clean and flawless. Outstanding teamwork despite the summer rush!

Staff were extremely helpful and nice, fee for the young driver was not crazy, and everything was transparent and clear, full coverage is possible, which I advise. The car was new, well maintained. Overall I'm super glad, best car rent experience I had so far, recommend!!

We rented a car for almost a week in Sicily using Centauro company. We were really satisfied with our decision. The car was almost new (Peugeot 208). We bought full insurance from Centauro which was great idea because of the driving style in Sicily. We didn't have to pay any deposit except deposit for fuel. Centauro company was cheap comparing to another car renting companies.

This was the second time I rented a vehicle from Centauro at Catania Airport, and once again the experience was excellent. Their online booking process is straightforward and clear, but what really sets Centauro apart is their Smart Insurance cover. It truly covers everything with no excess, meaning you simply return the car with a full tank and hand back the keys—no worries about hidden clauses or fine-print exclusions. This peace of mind is exactly what I look for when renting a car abroad, and so far I've only found it with Centauro. The cars are very good: new, comfortable, and most are equipped with GPS and phone connectivity. I highly recommend this company and will definitely continue using them. The only downside is that they're not available worldwide!

A special thank you to Miriam, or perhaps Myriam, who was absolutely wonderful. We had an early flight from Florence to Düsseldorf at 9:20 a.m., while the rental station only opened at 8:00. As the shuttle driver had not yet arrived, she immediately offered to drive us to the airport herself. A few moments later, another colleague came to take us, but she still accompanied us and made sure everything went smoothly. She was incredibly kind, calm and reassuring at a moment when we were beginning to feel quite stressed. Thanks to her help, we reached the airport in time and caught our flight. The entire rental experience was excellent. The car was perfect, everything was well organised, and the service was friendly and professional throughout. A big shout out to Miriam. She made all the difference that morning.
