A list of the top bike routes around the Costa Blanca

The Alicante province offers a wide selection of routes for all different levels. There are step climbs, long flat roads and roads that hardly have any traffic and are perfect for cyclists.

Route 1: Denia & the valley’s

This route starts in Denia with a distance of 97 kilometres. The different stages are Denia, Las Marinas, Pego, Vall d’Ebo, Vall D ‘Alcalá, Margarida, Vall de Gallinera, Pego, El Verger and Denia.

Also starting from Denia is a route through the valley’s and this would take you through: Denia, Ondara, Orba, Murla, Benigembla, Castell de Castells, Famorca, Fageca, Benimassot, Tollos, Beniaya, Vall de Alcalá, Vall d’Ebo, Sagra, La Rectoría, Beniarbeig, Ondara and Denia. 106 kilometres in total.

Route 2: Calpe North

From the town where you can see the Peñon d’Ifach, this route takes you through the following: Calpe, Teulada y Moraira, Jávea, Dénia, La Jara, Pedreguer, Llosa de Camacho, Jalón, Lliber, Benissa and Calpe. 78 kilometres to fully enjoy the surrounding areas and be close to nature.

Route 3: Torrevieja West

Leaving Torrevieja this route includes Torrevieja, San Miguel de Salinas, Torremendo, Circular Embalse de la Pedrera, Vista Bella, Montesinos, Torrevieja. Covering 53 kilometres, this ride will let you enjoy the landscapes of the salt flats of Torrevieja.

Route 4: Alicante

From Alicante, you can ride 103 kilometres and cover towns such as Busot, Xixona, Tibi, Castalla, San Vicente and back again. A wonderful view of the Mediterranean.

Route 5: Benidorm

Leaving from Benidorm you can do this route of 51 kilometres. You will Cover Finestrat, Sella, Alcoleja, Confrides, Castell de Guadalest, Polop de la Marina, La Nucia to finish up again in Benidorm.
