Calpe, Denia and Javea

In the north of the province of Alicante, and dotted around theCabo de la Nao headland, are the tourist coastal towns of Calpe, Denia and Javea. Owing to their particular geography, these are ideal places for practicing water sports and mountain activities.

Calpe-Denia

Calpe combines a perfect mix of history, sea and nature. Taking a walk through theOld Town to the Forat de la Mar gateway, and visiting the Torreó de la Peca tower or the Moorish neighbourhood of Arrabal brings us back in time and we discover something of the city’s past.

Stretching out into the Mediterranean is the Peñón de Ifach rock, a nature park and meeting point for climbers and divers.

Javea-Montgo

Situated between Denia and Javea, in the northeasternmost part of the province, is Montgo Mountain, a rocky mass that appears to rise from the sea, and which is a designated Natural Park. Along with Cabo de San Antonio headland it forms one of the most impressive landscapes on the Mediterranean coast, and provides a perfect place for hiking, with several marked routes and paths to choose from.
