Centauro Rent a Car disembarks in Greece, furthering its ambitious expansion plan in the Mediterranean market after entering Italy in 2018 and Portugal in 2017. During the next year the firm will open four branches in the main tourist destinations of the Greek peninsula and archipelago: Athens, Thessaloniki, Chania and Heraklion (Island of Crete).

With these new openings, the Spanish firm born in Benidorm will be present in one of the most visited countries in the Mediterranean coast - 32 million travelers are expected this year, according to official estimates - and which is also a strategic destination for the company’s expansion plan.

The opening of these four Centauro Rent a Car offices in Greece will generate 70 jobs, 40 of them direct and 30 indirect. Centauro Rent a Car will have an extensive fleet of vehicles in Greece, distributed in 4 car lots to serve the peninsular and island branches. Since December 2018, the company has launched online sales for its new destinations in Greece.
