How to charge your car battery in 5 simple steps

- Rental Car Advice

Going out to your car and realising that it does not start is not a pleasant surprise. If your vehicle has not been causing you any problems, it is most likely that the battery has been discharged. In these cases, you have several options: call your insurance company and request a tow truck service and a mechanic to recharge the battery or you can save avoid the waiting time and charge it on your own.

If you note that there is still some energy left in the car, you can always ask a few people to help you by pushing the car while you try to get it going. If this works, then you just need to keep the car running for about 20 minutes to fully recharge your battery 100%

If this does not work, knowing how to recharge your battery is not an easy task, especially if you do not have one of those little machines to do it for you. If you don’t have one of these devices, you can try with the help of another car battery and a set of jump leads. Make sure that the battery of the other car has an amperage similar to yours.
