have been reformed and brand-new, cutting-edge ones built, with health and beauty
clinics springing up all the time and attracting more and more people from all over
the world.
Traditions are also closely-guarded in the festivals celebrated in Malaga,
particularly in summer. The patron saint fiestas and Semana Santa (Easter) parades
are the best-loved and most spectacular of them all. Also, throughout the province
you can find numerous bull-rings, many no longer used but nonetheless architectural
masterpieces and a symbol of southern Spain's heritage.
